en Plein Air OIL PAINTING WORKSHOP - OCTOBER

Join artist Charles Waldman, October 10 - 12, and take a few days to devote completely to art and the beauty of fall in the Lodi (CA) region. The October foliage and beautiful weather makes it the perfect time of year for painting outdoors. The workshop, for oil or acrylic artists, is for all levels, and is limited to 12 students... so sign up as soon as possible!

"Outdoors is where I learned to paint and I will share what I've learned with you," explains Waldman. "We'll paint outside each day with instruction, demonstrations, and individual help. Most importantly, I want you to learn to 'seel like an artist' and use the 'language of painting' to translate this to your canvas. You may find that you're 'really seeing' for the first time ever!"

Charles Waldman is a California native who had an early interest in art. First, though, he became a doctor and practiced Family Medicine in Sonora (CA) for 22 years. Since then he has pursued a career as a fine artist, well recognized for his distinctive plein air landscapes. Waldman participates in many invitational plein air events, including the annual Laguna Plein Air Painters Assoc exhibition and sale and the California Art Club's annual gold Medal show.
